Our online course was created for parents and caretakers who are short on time or want to learn the Montessori method at their own pace. 

“Creating the Space that Honours Your Child” is a 10-module introductory course that guides and empowers parents to confidently create a space that honours their child’s development needs. This is done using the principles of the Montessori method.

At first glance, Montessori appears to have rigorous rules that dictate how a classroom or home environment should be run. This can be intimidating, especially for anyone with an untrained eye. However, with a little guidance, and once you step into the role of the guide, it becomes easy to see that it’s far more approachable it seems. During this process, you can embrace your inner child and create a warm loving environment that provides a sense of calm while still allowing you to be flexible.

The Montessori Method is a method of child education developed by Italian physician, Dr. Maria Montessori. The method encourages growth and learning for children by allowing them to explore their innate desire for knowledge.

Through this method, your child will lead their own lessons by pursuing their curiosities. There's still a guided structure and assessment that occurs, but the focus is more on individual interests over standardized fact memorization.

Montessori education has been practiced since 1907. Famous students taught with the Montessori Method include Larry Page (founder of Google), Jeff Bezos (founder of Amazon), Yo-Yo Ma (world-renowned cellist), and Taylor Swift (Grammy-winning singer).
